Today at work, I started a blog about my amazing ability to multi-task and troll around the interwebs for fun and diversion while also working exceptionally hard (*cough, cough*).
The highlights of the day include watching the Guild's new music video, Game On, way too many times and trying to win a set piece from the video via twitter (c/o @theguild). I also watched a quick interview with Felicia Day on twit live's net@night.
While I didn't win the set piece, I did come to the realization that I need to learn how to chirp like a cricket... fortunately, there is an awesome guy with beatbox tutorials on youtube, so I'm well on my way. :) Unfortunately, work may not be the best place to practice whistling, so I'll have to wait to experiment later.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, I need to learn to chirp because I frequently say "crickets" to denote silence/non-responsiveness, and I think actually making the noise would be way cooler. Today, for instance, I came across a lovely little article about how Target is funding some total homophobic psycho who actively supports violence against homosexuals... Target's response to inquiries about the donations? - - *crickets chirping*
Listening to: Pandora (a station based on a mixed CD from one of my BFFs.)
Working on: Analysis of classification of fees and charges from a public utility (woot!woot!)
